创作背景

《忏悔屋》创作于2021年，是CryptoZR在个人身份认同与加密货币技术之间的探索性实验。作品核心命题是：以个人名字命名一种数字货币，意味着什么？

在传统货币体系中，货币以国家或机构命名，代表着集体权威的背书。《忏悔屋》将这一逻辑个人化——为每一个进入装置的参与者发行以其名字命名的专属数字代币，将"货币发行权"这一极度中心化的权力，转移到每一个个体身上。

装置的实体形式是一个由彩虹色全息薄膜包裹六面（地板、天花板、四壁）的立方体玻璃屋（300×300×300cm），内部设有屏幕和交互台，参观者进入后可扫码领取以自己名字命名的代币。玻璃结构与镭射材料的组合，使身处其中的人沉浸在流动的彩色光影中，"忏悔"的私密性与玻璃的通透性之间形成了视觉张力。

创作理念

《忏悔屋》探讨的是"命名"与"价值"之间的关系：

1. 货币的私人化：法币的价值依赖于国家信用，加密货币的价值依赖于社区共识。以个人名字命名的货币，其价值则依赖于"这个人"本身——这是对身份认同最直接的加密艺术诠释。

2. 忏悔的空间隐喻：天主教"告解亭"（Confessional Box）是一个用于私密倾诉的封闭空间。《忏悔屋》以全息玻璃盒替代木质告解亭，将"私密告解"转化为"公开展示的自我命名"。玻璃的通透性使忏悔不再私密，而是在所有观众面前的公开自我声明。

3. 区块链作为永恒记录：以个人名字命名的代币一旦发行，即在区块链上永久存在——这是一种最彻底的"命名权"：不可撤销、不可篡改，在这个意义上，每个参与者都在区块链上留下了自己的一个"名字"。

创作形式

《忏悔屋》是一件沉浸式多媒体装置，兼具实体艺术品和加密货币发行机制双重属性。

实体形式：

• 玻璃立方体：透明玻璃结构，外部尺寸约300×300×300cm，参观者可进入内部
• 全息薄膜：六面（地板、天花板、四面墙壁）均铺设彩虹色全息镀铝薄膜，在光照下呈现流动的七彩反射效果
• 交互屏幕：内部中央设有屏幕，播放视频内容，展示私人货币ZR等相关作品
• QR码交互台：内设二维码扫码台，参观者扫码后可领取以其名字命名的数字代币

数字形式：

• 代币发行：基于以太坊区块链，为每位参与者定制发行数字货币
• 永久链上记录：代币在区块链上永久存在，参与者的"名字"以加密货币形式永久记录

Introduction

To issue for every person a digital currency named after them.

Background

Confession House was created in 2021 and is CryptoZR's exploratory experiment between personal identity and cryptocurrency technology. Its central question is: what does it mean to name a digital currency after an individual?

In the traditional monetary system, currencies are named after states or institutions and carry the endorsement of collective authority. Confession House personalises that logic — issuing to every participant who enters the installation a dedicated digital token named after them, and thereby transferring the extremely centralised power of "issuing money" to each individual.

The physical form of the installation is a cubic glass room (300 × 300 × 300 cm) whose six surfaces (floor, ceiling and four walls) are wrapped in rainbow holographic film, with a screen and an interactive console inside; visitors who enter can scan a QR code to claim a token named after themselves. The combination of glass structure and holographic material immerses those inside in shifting coloured light, and a visual tension arises between the privacy of "confession" and the transparency of glass.

Concept

Confession House examines the relationship between "naming" and "value":

1. The privatisation of money: the value of fiat currency depends on state credit and the value of cryptocurrency on community consensus. The value of a currency named after an individual depends on "that person" alone — the most direct crypto-artistic interpretation of identity.

2. Confession as spatial metaphor: the Catholic confessional box is an enclosed space for private disclosure. Confession House replaces the wooden confessional with a holographic glass box, turning "private confession" into "publicly displayed self-naming". The transparency of the glass means the confession is no longer private but a public declaration of self before every viewer.

3. The blockchain as eternal record: once issued, a token named after an individual exists permanently on the blockchain — the most thoroughgoing form of "the right to name": irrevocable and immutable. In this sense every participant leaves a "name" of their own on the blockchain.

Form

Confession House is an immersive multimedia installation that is at once a physical artwork and a cryptocurrency issuance mechanism.

Physical form:
Glass cube: a transparent glass structure of roughly 300 × 300 × 300 cm which visitors can enter
Holographic film: all six surfaces (floor, ceiling and four walls) are lined with rainbow aluminised holographic film, producing shifting iridescent reflections under light
Interactive screen: a screen at the centre of the interior plays video content presenting Private Currency ZR and related works
QR console: a scanning console inside allows visitors to claim a digital token named after them

Digital form:
Token issuance: a digital currency is issued to each participant, custom-made on the Ethereum blockchain
Permanent on-chain record: the tokens exist permanently on the blockchain, recording the participant's "name" in the form of a cryptocurrency
