「1000EYE」experiment homogenized NFT — this is the English language presentation of CryptoZR's (Liu Jiaying's) exploration of NFT homogenization.

1000EYE is a blockchain-based crypto artwork with Satoshi Nakamoto's eye at the center, arranged in a prime number spiral (Ulam spiral) pattern, composed of the eyes of one thousand representative figures of the 21st century, with a corresponding issuance of a total of 1,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The experiment explores what happens when 1,000 supposedly unique NFTs are combined: does the assembled whole override the uniqueness of each part? This tension between individual uniqueness and collective unity mirrors broader questions about identity, community, and value in the blockchain ecosystem.

The physical artwork is an oil painting on canvas measuring 3m × 3m, while its digital counterpart lives permanently on the Ethereum blockchain. Each NFT eye is one-thousandth of the complete work, yet each is also an independent entity that can exist separately.
